Two years into the project, a famous European “TV Chef” passing through Hong Kong stopped in with a friend and tried a test sample of our organic, whole food, pre-sprouted energy bars. We held our breath: “The Food of the Future!” he declared. And smiling, we knew we had arrived.
Well, almost. We took another year to perfect the flavor. We discovered a sweet nectar produced from the dripping sap of the Indonesian Coconut Flower. Thus, everything else was born on the Stephen James Luxury Organics “Road to the Bars.”
We actually DID search deep in the mountains and valleys of Asia for unique, highly mineralized and even “wild” foods that we could add to our bars.
When we discovered the organic Volcanic Pili Nuts in a tropical rainforest of the Philippines, we took them home and created a proprietary “slow-dried” process that made each nut simply too delicious on its own to start mixing them into the bars. The only element we found worthy enough to add to our nuts and bars was the Saffron-Pink Himalayan Salt: the finest, most mineral-rich salt on Earth. We loved it so much we decided to package it. Considering the remarkable healing and balancing qualities of this amazing natural product, we put it in everything.
Delicious organic, whole food has become a new luxury in the world today. We are realizing that we cannot buy cheap food and expect wholesome nutrition. The ocean of pesticides, covert irradiation techniques used in processing, and genetic modification of our food threatens to quietly engulf us, deteriorating our good health in the process.
