The duo came to Hong Kong more then 25 years ago to practice dentistry, and have had many patients asking them for advice on finding healthy snacks. But they'd found none that met their standards. So the brothers set out to make their own organic energy bars from high-quality pre-sprouted seeds and nuts sourced from around the world, dried at a low heat to preserve their enzyme content and aid digestion. It's a process they learned from traditional Chinese medicine.
The brothers held two "Organic Happy Hour" tasting sessions at Kee Club on Tuesday to promote the kosher, vegan, organic energy bars, in a variety of flavors ranging from the lightly sweet Beauty Bar to the chocolatey Choco Bar and the savory Pizza Bar. Stephen stressed that there was no soya in their products, because "soy is not a health food by any stretch of the imagination". He admitted that he did eat tofu, however.

These include five different types of whole food energy bars which pack a huge nutritional punch, pili nuts (a brand ‘new’ gourmet nut) and Saffron Pink Himalayan salt. These products will be showcased at Expo West, the world’s largest natural and organic food fair, in Anaheim, California, between March 11th and 13th 2011. The products are currently available in Hong Kong and Shanghai and will be offered in Beijing, New York and London within the year.
